Amy and Zane came to be in our home for a while. Zane is 3 years old and Amy his sister 8 months old. In total we had 6 children living in our home. Bath times were a challenge but fun nevertheless. Gideon our boy who we adopted is 3 too and he and Zane were the best of pals from the start but also the best of competitors.
It was wonderful to have the them in our home and to love unconditionally. Our family had been sponsored a months worth of meals from an outside company called the Doorstep Chef. This was a huge blessing as Louise and I could focus on the ids and did not have to worry about meals. Financially it was a huge saving. Each evening the food would arrive at 5:30pm and all 8 of us would tuck into the meal that had arrived.
Working with the welfare we sent Zane and Amy to their grandmother who Loves in Springbok. Even though these two precious children were with us for just short of a month we realized that we can make a difference to their lives in a small way. Louise and I met the Grandmother two day before their trip back to Springbok and on the travel date we packed their clothes, and added some bottles, formula, snacks for the trip and said goodbye. We wish Zane and Amy Gods richest blessings and pray you find happiness and a bright future wherever you may go.
